Hi al,
if you go to http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/Routers you can select your router type by clicking on it.  You will then be taken to a page with more specific information regarding your router, scroll down that page until you see a section titled "More information".  Click more.  This will take you to a final page where you can select your router version, and download firmware, drivers, manuals, and more for your router.
Hope this helps, and don't forget to rate/vote.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a lynksys router. It will work with our mac, but if i try to get online with my pc, neiter will connect or if one is connected, it will disconnect. can i fix this

Hi,

I see that you are having issues with your network connection, I believe that you are trying to connect wireless on both systems.

* Check your Linksys for settings that limit the routers wireless connection, most wireless routers have an option on how many computers can connect wireless to the router, a wireless signal does not chose what OS to allow for a wireless connection.

* get in your Linksys Routers Setting page from IE or Firefox using your Default gateway IP from there on you can check your Routers settings, user name depends if your internet service provider changed the Routers user name and password but for a Linksys try admin / password or admin / admin for the User name and Password field.

Hope this helps you thanks and have a good day.

I have my own secured wifi and my laptop keeps disconnecting from it and connecting to lynksis and I do not have lynksis. Please help

Most software out there that allow you to find wifi will have an option that allows you to choose which network to connect to if it's on the list. Set your Belkin as your preferred network and that should clear up your problem.

I hope this helps.

Cannot Communicate from Computer to Computer

A connection from USB adapter directly to USB adapter may or may not be possible. Borrow a wireless router from someone and use it to test supporting connections to your two computers. I think you will find this a much easier way to proceed. Routers can be had for $40 or less. Shop around.

Good Luck
