Monitor does power up but no picture??
heck342, Your monitor may have the common "black screen of death" that will occur to ANY AND ALL cold cathode-fluorescent-lamp, back-lit, lcd monitors sometime during their lifetime. You will need to do a lot of reading in my fixya profile and those of "buddymc" , "budmrtn" and then you will understand what you will or will not do with your unit. I'll even bet you haven't been to YOUTUBE to view any DIY repair videos yet! Come back here for more info after you do a little research on the WEB, and can tell us tech's that you know the difference between a "black screen" and a "blank n black screen" monitor. Remember this, your CCFL back-lit lcd unit" design and principle of operation isn't any different than any other brand. Have you done the "flashlight test" that every CCFL back-lit lcd monitor owner should know how to perform and interpret the resulting info when black screen of death occurs? Bye for now. 12fixlouie
