where did you buy this mirror, or was it a gift? I think the best thing to do would be to look up the model number and you may get results. It sounds like your bulbs would need changing if they are dimmer than they used to..

should imagine that the covers just either slide out or pop out ,if i could see it then i would work it out but iam a fella and i dont use these things sorry

I searched the internet using https://www.google.com and could not locate that model 965. There were some make mirrors with RV-965 that may be what you are looking for, but I did not see a manual online.

No!,No!, No!, Not 12 V and higher.
It is a 12 Volt bulb with 50 Watts or lower
Hard to remove bulb. I did and exchanged it and still no light I will buy another mirror. Cheap enough.Bed Bath and Beyond sells them.
