Hi there, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service here. I came across your post recently and wanted to see if I could help. We have a few different codes for each of our different models of remotes. The model # of your remote should be located on the back of the remote at the top, usually a two to three digit number with a decimal point. I will list here for you the best codes for our more popular models of remote and the instructions for addressing the remote to your TV. I hope you find this information useful and if you have any further questions please let me know!
Remote Model # Remote codes
3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.4 IR remotes - codes 505, 165, 671, 627, 520, 758, 766.
5.0, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 IR remotes - codes 627, 505, 506, 006, 457, 520.

Codes to check with Vizio TV are:
0891, 0912, 1783
Look up your TV make in the TV code listing on the other side of this sheet.
2. Circle the first 4-digit number displayed for your make of TV.
3. Turn on your TV.
4. Press and hold the TV key.
5. While holding down the TV key, press the OK key.
6. Release both keys. The Device Keys will blink twice.
7. Enter the 4-digit TV code you circled. The TV key will blink 3 times.
8. To test to see if this was the correct code, point the remote at your TV and press Power. If the TV turns off, you have successfully programmed your remote.
If the TV did not turn off, repeat all the steps with the next code in the list.
10. For future reference, underline the code that worked for you.
Note: If some of the keys on the remote do not operate your TV as you would expect, then you can try the next code in the list for your brand of TV.
