My Hanshing Cam cannot work

Hello, I know this camera is not as qualified as other brands, I was interested to buy coz it's cheap and recommended by my friend. The pics are great, I can even use ot for a cam on chat. But lately as I didnt use it for ages so I forgot to take out the batteries, it doesnt work at all. The batteries are two AAA and I have rechargable ones. Please advise if the cam is still usefull as I like it actually.

Thanks, I have tried....uhmm well, I bought the regular battery and after cleaned the batt compartment I put them and it was on, few seconds with some blur and lines on the display, after that off again. I think it has some problems on LCD too (or probably memory as well), coz then it says that batt is low while I just changed them.

WizRecharge the clean the top and bottom of the batts and check they have not leaked.
Or get new ones.
Clean out the bottom of the battery compartment with the eraser on the end of a pencil. clean also the battery lid.
See what happens

Did the batteries leak,can you say?
Because if they did then it is a chance the stuff got into the circuit board and caused damage
which will not be repairable.
