57.01error to continue turn off turn the device off then on if the message reappers record the message and contact support this probiem affects printing but som scan function mights still be available touch hide to remove this message and use other features

SOURCE: Error message ?incorrect black cartridge?

You can get this message even when the cartridge is the right one, but the joints are covered in ink. Try the following solution- fill a bowl with hot water (not boiling hot), 3 mm high, remove the cartridge and place it so only the joints are submerged in the water, for a minute or 2. Dry it well, clean the joints again and place it in the printer. Good luck.

see the problem here is that the device software is not proerly installed
follow the steps and it should work :
1.uninstall all the softwares related to the printer like digital imaging , solution center ,ocr software ,hp updates , hp photosmart software .
2.download the software from the url http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3204785&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us
and select your operating system and download the full feature driver software and save it in your desktop
3.Run the downloaded software and complete the installation

Hi,
Solution

  1. Remove and then reinsert the cartridge indicated in the error message.
  2. If the error is still displayed, clean the contacts. Click here to see how.
  3. If the error message is Error. Remove and Check Black or Photo Cartridge , the following steps may help:
    1. Remove both cartridges, lower the latches, and close the printer access door.
    2. Turn off the unit by pressing the On button on the front panel. Wait for the printer to completely shut down.
    3. Turn the printer back on by pressing the On button.
    4. When the message display reads Insert Print Cartridges , open the access door and replace the cartridges.
  4. If neither of the steps above fixed the problem, either the cartridge or the printer is faulty.5. Replace Cartridge.Please rate my response!!!Thanks,SF

Hi,

The HP Digital Imaging Monitor (DIM) software must be running in order to scan from the printer.

  1. Click Start , and then click Run .
  2. In the Open text box, type msconfig , and then click OK .
  3. In the System Configuration Utility window, click the Startup tab.
  4. Search the list for HP Digital Imaging Monitor .If HP Digital Imaging Monitor is not on the list, the driver was not correctly installed or a custom install was used. You need to reinstall the software.
  5. Select the HP Digital Imaging Monitor check box.
  6. Click Apply , and then click Close .
  7. Click Restart to restart the computer.
  8. Try scanning again

Why does the screen read "device error" when I turn it on?

According to the user manual for the device, on page 81, it reads:

If any of these errors occur, turn the the unit power OFF and restart it.
If these error message continue to appear, please contact a TASCAM Service Center.

My panasonic phone won,t record messages from callers


Before i can give a definite answer to this problem first what is the exact model of the phone? Does it record messages before?
If the answer to the second question is yes then check the device memory. If the memory is full try clearing up some space on the phone as this could affect the recording of messages on your device. Expecting a feedback from you. Hope the solution is helpful?

Just started getting the message "insert smart chip" scrolling across the screen of my pink ATT Sony Ericsson cell phone. I took the battery out and pulled the chip, then put them back in and turned it on...


Test the phone with a good working Sim card from another phone. If that works, buy another simcard but if you still has the same issue, the simcard connector assembly might be the problem. Go to a local repair shop.

You have one of the following problems:
  • The device freezes and does not react anymore to the remote control commands.
  • The DVD is stuck in the tray. Sometimes the message BLOCKED appears.
  • A feature is not available in the menu without any logical reason.
  • A feature of the device does not work (for example start install).
  • There is some problem with the device you cannot solve.

Reset the DVD recorder.
  1. Unplug the mains cord from the mains wall outlet.
  2. Press the POWER/ON button on the DVD recorder itself.
  3. While keeping the POWER/ON button pressed connect the main power cord to the wall outlet again. A message IS TV ON? or a demo message will appear in the display.
  4. Start the first installation process.

Notes:
    1. The settings of the DVD recorder will return to their default settings. Install the DVD recorder as if it came out of the box.
    2. The data on the hard disc will not be affected.
