Problem for Compaq Monitors
Generic problem for all Compaq Monitors

Half screen is rainbow coloured

I have a compaq fp5315 lcd monitor, which has suddenly turned half of the screen to a multi-coloured display from top to bottom. I have tried turning it off for a few hours; disconnecting it; reverting to factory settings and pressing the menu button for ten seconds to bring up the OSD, but nothing works.
