SOURCE: I have a Celestion CSW Sub woofer. It powers on as

This speaker has a low frequency roll-off filter. Does your program source have low enough frequencies to pass through the filter? The effect of the subwoofer on most music is very subtle unless there is heavy bass in the source. You should try some songs that have a heavy under beat.

How are you driving the CSW -- by way of the line input or as a series connection to your full range speakers?

SOURCE: I have a celestion s10 sub which after a house

You say you've connected it to the Left Input on the Sub. I take it from this that it also has a right Input? Is the sound the same when connected to this?

If it is then the first step would be to open the unit and look for loose connections. If these are all OK then you'll need to check for damaged / blown components on the Subs Input PCB. (Can't find a Manual so not 100% sure of the contents of the Sub)

If the PCB & Connections look OK then the next thing would be to check the speaker. Lightly press the centre of the speaker with your ear next to it and check for a grating noise. If there is a grating noise then the speech coil has either been damamged or dislodged. This can't be fixed and the speaker would need to be replaced.

Let me know if you need any further assistance once you've opened the unit and if possible some photos of the internal PCBs etc.

SW-910, blown speaker or ? makes rattle/buzz sound. replace speaker and/or change to passive type sw?

i would suggest replacing it rather than fixing. The cost of the repair will be about the same.
if you went to a passive sub/seperate power amp setup you could get a much higher quality unit, but it would cost you considerably more cash.

Hello Guys,Can you please help? can I replace the sub woofer on my sony home theatre system DAV-DZ231 with a Celestion sub woofer s10

Presumably, the Celestion subwoofer is self-powered in which case it would connect to an RCA subwoofer output on your Sony system if there is one.

PROBLEM WITH SUB WORKING ON A PIONEER VSXAX5I RECIEVER

The problem is in the powered sub, the buzzing sound is caused by one or more defective audio output ic's that drive the subwoofer directly, service is the only option to remedy the situation.

How I fit the XL seat for quinny buzz. There doesn't seem to be anything to fix it onto?

Hi

The infant stage seat fabric that the Quinny Buzz was originally fitted with is on a sub seat (seat frame) that is then clipped into the chassis.

Remove the infant stage seat fabric from the sub seat and replace with the 2nd stage seat fabric.

My celestion s20 subwoofer won't play if i hook it up to sub out on receiver.but will play if i run a regular speaker wire to it. I know sub out is working on receiver.

Tell your source (receiver???) that it has a sub and set it up to feed LFE out of that RCA jack.

Prove your sub pre-out works. Or send something like FM on Tape Out to the sub and see how that works out.

How did you hook a speaker wire to this model of powered sub? What was on the other end of that speaker wire? It's not designed for speaker level input.
