1999 FORD ESCORT ZX2 radiator hoses swell and burst

I REPLACED THE RADIATOR LAST MONTH WITH A NEW UNIT. MY DAUGHTER DROVE IT FOR A WEEK AND A HALF THEN THE TOP HOSE BLEW OUT. i REPAIRED IT SHE DROVE FOR LESS THAN A WEEK AND THE BOTTOM HOSE BLEW.REPAIRED IT. lESS THAN A WEEK NEW TOP HOSE BLEW. LAST WEEK THE CAR WOULD NOT START . IT TRIED TO. I REPLACED THE PLUGS AND IT HAS RUN FINE UNTILL TONIGHT. (ONLY SEVERAL DAYS)IGOT IT RUNNING AND TOOK IT FOR A DRIVE WHEN I CAME HOME I POPPED THE HOOD AND NOTICED THE UPPER HOSE WAS SWOLLEN AND HARD. THE CAR WOULD NOT STAY RUNNING AND HAD A SULFER SMELL OUT OF EXHAUST. THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON TOO.
AFTER THE CAR COOLED I CRACKED THE CAP, RELIEVED THE PRESSURE,TIGHTENED THE CAP AND STARTED THE CAR. THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON,IT STARTED HARD BUT STARTED. I AM GOING TO CHANGE THE CAP TOMORROW NIGHT,BUT I'M NOT SURE WHAT IS WRONG.BEFORE I CHANGED THE RADIATOR THE OLD ONE WAS LEAKING BUT I DIDN'T HAVE THE SWELLED HOSE ISSUE.
THANKS

Remove the spark plugs and look for a greenish tint on any of them. And spin engine over with plugs out and make sure no antifreeze comes out of any of the cylinders.

You've got a serious overheating issue creating the pressure. Your temp gauge must be reading hot too.
If not, then you have engine compression pressure getting into the cooling system through a blown head gasket.
Replacing the cap will not help.

Need diagram for replacing scerpentine belt in 99 ford escort zx2

go to gates.com and click the link on the left that says Part Locator & Interchange, put in your car info then look down the page and click the camera next to the serpintine belt. These belts are not usually hard to change, the tensioner pulley should have a 3/8" square drive hole in it to release the tension, I always start at the crankshaft and loop around leaving the tensioner for last, hope this helps, let me know
