Will not allow us to play the disc installed in the ps3 console

Hi my name is Juan an ebay thrusted power seller and tech for ps3's this is your main problem your laser lens have stop reading games , movies and sometimes music cds and the only solution is to replace the laser lens you can do it your self or you can have some one do it for you or I can help you with this I do sell the laser or installed for you or sell you a completed bluray drive or have someone install one for you but this is the only solution for your ploblem thanks

Unless this is a game you "installed" from the online store, then all other PS3 games require the disc in to play.

With the disc in the system, go to the Game heading in the menu. You should see a disc icon with the name of your game...now click it. If you do not see the image, you will probably see text that says "disc read error". In this case you need to either clean the disc, or replace the disc with a non-scratched or non-defective one.

If your PS3 does this with multiple non-defective discs, then your blu-ray drive may be defective.
