Try connecting it in a different usb port, also try downloading different driver for it as the support panel says, there are two drivers for it. It could be you need to patch the hardware registry for it.
It is because your computer can't detect the a4tech webcam, the proper way of installing is first don't plug in the a4tech device, install the driver first then plug-in the a4tech device, wait for the computer to detect your webcam. Make sure that the installation is complete. If the installation ask you to restart your computer, do it right away.
Try entering QuikPlay and on the bottom you will find your webcam
Oper your webcam and see if it works.
If you still recv. a error message, you may need to re-install your webcam drivers.
Hope this has helped you.
Same problem. Have Creative Web Cam Pro. When I installed it and everything it showed me sitting there and I could see myself fine. I open PC-CAM Center, however, and it says "Creative Camera not detected. Please plug in to continue..." It's plugged in. I can click the button on top and the PC-CAM center comes up, so I know it works. But it won't detect it. Thanks for any help you can provide!
