Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: l need the wiring diagram

I was unable to find your model but maybe there are some other clues to the model's number you can use on this web site.
http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/

Also all washing machines include a wiring diagram underneath the control panel at the top. Unscrew from behind and the sides and remove, be careful of the wiring. You don't want to pull a connection out.

SOURCE: RV AC, how to wire fan (blower) motor to capacitor.

You almost have it Look closer at the run capacitor. It has Herm, this is for the compressor, Com or C and F or Fan.

1 of your power wires is the fan speed so connect them accordingly usually black is hi, blue med, & red is low. You are "feeding" voltage to the selector switch on 1 side and coming out to the fan motor speeds.

Next you have a "Common" wire on your fan motor (this means its Common to all the other connections inside the fan motor to me. It is usually white. Connect this to the other line of power usually the Com on the capacitor unless it connects to a strip on the selector switch. But 1 of these 2 places will be the other side of your Power when plugged in. Lastly the brown it is usually the fan capicator only wire and it will connect to the fan "F" terminal on the capicator this terminal will not have any other wires connected to it.

This should make you a happy camper. Please rate me accordingly and good luck.

  • I have a Bionaire brand table electric fan.
    • It has a 3 speed fan motor.
    • The electric motor is a BM-122 Decomin brand 3 speed motor.
      • There are 6 wires:
        • Red wire.
        • Black wire.
        • White wire.
        • Yellow wire.
        • Gray wire.
        • Blue wire.
          • The motor has a 4mu 250volt capacitor.
  • This fan has an oscillating grill with independent sync motor, and timer circuit.
  • Something was wrong with the solid state circuitry (everything worked but the motor!), but a quick test of the motor indicated it does work.
  • The motor uses a start and run capacitor.
  • I decided to change controls to a simple mechanical switch and fore go for now anything beyond 3 speeds.

    • Checking the Motor and Capacitor Connections
    • Double check your connections using the fan wiring diagrams.
    • You should see that there is a separate motor winding for high speed.
      • The concern is that there is a capacitor for the motor.
      • So I'm thinking that the motor may have to start with the slower speeds first.
      • and not start in the high speed because the motor or capacitor has not been designed for that type of operation.

On a Flowmaster 2XP motor for my hottub, both speeds run the same RPMs. I have switched red and black wires with the same result. Why no high speed?I dont have a wiring diagram on the motor (FYI).

the wires red and black are active (red and ) neutral (black) as ac motors will run the same way regardless of which wire is on what terminal swapping wires achieve nothing
try looking for a resistor at the back of the switch ( or a speed control unit) that will change motor speeds

Iam replacng my home a/c blower motor. My unit hasa red a black and a white wire. My new motor has a black wire a blue wire a red wire and a yellow wire. I need to know which color wire goes to which

On the original motor, red was low speed, black was high speed and white was common. The new motor should either have a diagram on the side of it or within the box for verification, but the black SHOULD also be high speed and the red wire SHOULD be low speed , the blue wire SHOULD be medium and the yellow SHOULD be common. However, you MUST verify those connections on the wiring diagram provided with the new motor before you connect or you will probably let out the MAJIC SMOKE !!! The speed you decide not to utilize can just be taped off and zip tied to the bundle.

You made no comment about two brown wires, and if either motor has two browns, they go to the run capacitor.

all US motors should have a wiring diagram on the side of the motor unit. The wires going into the pump would hold their same values. I am assuming the previous pump was two speed as well, if not that is your problem.
assuming that they are both two speed reference the common on the pumps motor diagram, and connect the white wire to that terminal.
reference the diagram for correct low speed and connect the black wire to that termial,
repeat for the high speed.
I deal alot with the flo master pumps and they should all be labeled. The most important thing is to get the common correct, switching the other two wires (black and red) incorrectly would simply result in high coming on when low is supposed to and vice versa.

If there really is not a diagram, here is the most typical setup for that motor.

(if you look closely at the terminals on the motor, there are numbers there)
connect the white common to terminal #5
connect the red hot wire to terminal #1
connect the black hot wire to terminal #2
connect the ground
done

Hope this helps.

Replaced Single Speed Pool Pump Motor with 2-Speed Motor

You will need a two speed time clock to really take advantage of real energy efficiency savings. Intermatic makes one that fits in place of the original t104 time clock. You will need to run an additional wire to the pump as well. You will have the ground. Then one common wire that is always hot whether or not you are on high speed or low speed. You could make this a white wire. Then a black wire for your high speed that is energized in high speed and a red wire for the low speed. It is important that the high and low speeds not be energized at the same time, otherwise you will hear a very unpleasant sound coming from the motor, and failure and shortened life of the motor will be realized. The side of the motor will have a wiring diagram for how to connect the common, low and high speed leads. Your wire harness should have a white (common), black (usually low), red (usually high) and green (ground) wire. If high and low are backwards, switch the black and red leads.

Motor Wiring
Old Motor
Brown wire is Start
Yellow wire is run or Power
Black wire is High Speed or Common
The other two taps are speed taps, but you have a single speed application
And high speed is what you need ,that’s why there’s not any wires
on Red and Blue if high speed was to much then you would move the
Black wire to one of the other taps RED low speed or Blue Medinm speed
New Motor
White goes to the Yellow wire from the capacitor
Black goes to the Black wire you took off of high speed on old motor
Of course both Brown wires go to the capacitor and Green to ground
If a capacitor doesn’t discharge it doesn’t mean it’s bad
but the capacitors don’t last as long as they used.
Any time you put in a new motor always replace the capacitor
It will save you a lot of time and grief later on.
