Inside the tank is a fuel filter, replace it and then see how it is.

take apart your carb--sounds like your carb diaphram is not installed right the settings should be

Let go the gas speed up by itself

I'll be honest, I am not exactly sure what you mean but it sounds like you are talking about a runaway. Sometimes gas powered saws will run themselves without hitting the trigger, and it's often caused by the carburetor set improperly. The older saws have a high and a low, and the new California approved only have the low (but the high can be tweaked with some effort).

Saw starts and loses power and dies when i pull throttle

It sounds like it is running too lean on the mixture, if it is new take it back to have the mixture richened up, if you carry on running with a lean mixture it could seize.

Before you do anything else i think you need to check the engine is mechanically sound, remove the muffler, take a look at the piston skirt through the open port, any signs of scuffing on the piston and it will require removing the cylinder to assess the damage, they are x torq engines, due to the way the air ports work they are quite prone to carboning in the piston rings, make sure it has plenty of compression.

Setting the carb twe jets

These people explain better than anyone else I have found. The sound files are very helpful too.
Carburetor Adjustment by Madsens.com

CW is leaner; to lean will destroy the saw. If over tightened closed (CW) the adjustment screw faces are easily marred; marred adjustments are difficult to impossible to set properly.
Clean the air filter; adjusting with a dirty filter can cause a run lean condition once cleaned and the saw run.

There are 2 wav (sound - idle & full – not highlighted) files that I find most helpful, I think you will too. HTH

Saw runs good when you prime it cant get it to get gas from tank

Sounds like you have a plug between the tank and the carb. I would change the hose between the two and clean the tank as well as the carb.

Poulan 14" chainsaw, fuel coming out of fuel cap vent

The fuel cap has a rubber check valve in the top. This check valve allows air to enter the tank so fuel can flow. Much like the vent on your gas can. Sounds like the check valve in the cap is stiffening and not flexing. Best bet is to buy a new cap. Most caps like that sell for less than $3.

Chain saw emitted sparks and now does not start.

Hi

When the engine get warm and die(I suppose)check the spark at the sparkplug. You can let the saw run until it ran out of gas and you will not distroy the engine.Change the sparkplug.

Chainsaw kills when I press the throttle

My 372 xp did that and when I talked to the repair shop they even showed me. There is a fiberglass gasket that is used to mount the carburetor to the engine. I have no idea on how this happens, but I saw it with my own eyes. The gasket had actually folded over. They replaced it with a rubber one and have had no problem since. The saw was hard to start, would run as long as I didn't try to cut anything and when I did it would open up and then die. I could be giving wrong information, but that sounds exactly like the problem I was having.
