I just bought one of these from Staples, $19. on the clearance rack. Before I opened it, I checked amazon.com reviews and this router is described as the worst piece of garbage anyone has ever seen. I think Bin Laden has a higher popularity rating than this thing. Hopefully Staples will give me my money back.

What's with the low rating? This router is your problem, there is no solution other than returning it and getting a better one. I'm just the messenger, I didn't sell you the crappy router and I am bang on with my answer!

Reset the router to factory settings and test. Please remember that security settings may be restored too here, so you may need to encrypt the signal. You will need to log into the router's configuration page in order to achieve these. Also try changing the channel in terms of broadcasting... and test again. I hope I have helped here. Good luck.

How to setup d-link wbr 1310

Are you trying to set up router ?
You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

After connecting router wbr-1310, DSL connection states "limited to no connectivity." What could be causing that problem and how can it be corrected to operate the router?

limited to no connectivity with a wireless system means that it is not picking up the signals from the internet device you have, check if everything is plugged in properly and that your internet connection (modem) has enough strength to be able to be wireless.

Cable connectivity

hi pat seems your router is not configure yet for internet connection, for cable connection you must log into the setup page of the router and clone the mac address of your computer.

to do that you can call 1-877-453-5465
to have someone walk you trough the steps.

flashing lights simply means activity on your network, and you get activity when you have internet connection.

hope that helps pat.
