The speed is excessive or you have a voltage capacitor in the end of the alternator gone bad

What can I do if I am only getting 110v instead of 140v?

If you are getting 140v, you have a problem. I assume you are talking about powering the computer. Standard voltage in the United States in 120v, but I could range from 114v to 126v.

Why do you think you should be getting 140v?

Run it for 10 minutes BEFORE you take that voltage reading, the compressor is a smart compressor and it senses load and has to run a while to tell the controller what to feed it. See pages 19-21 of the service manual.

How much is a Pentax esp10-140 worth?

I found the ESPIO-140M selling for as little as $30, and I found an ESPIO-140V in excellent used condition selling for $150. I also noted a 140V that failed to sell for $55 on eBay. I hope this information helps.

Here's a link to the high priced V model:

If the voltage in h out is 200v is good or bad and the voltage regular is heat?

You mean the collector voltage on the Horz output transistor is 200 volts?

I would check this by removing the transistor and then measuring the voltage on the board (where the collector or center leg of the transistor is soldered to).

I don't know what kind of tv this is but you should see 130v or 135 volts.
RCA sets you should see 140v. If the voltage is too high replace the voltage regulator.

D40 compatability with Sunpak auto 144D flash

the voltage on the flash hot shoe contacts (center pin and rail connector) can be as high as 140V DC and this voltage is backfed into the camera through its hotshoe connector. There are adapters that can be bought that isolate this voltage that go between the flash and the camera, but different camera makers have different ratings for the flash voltage. My Vivitar 220 has 122 volts across the contacts from 4 AA batteries! Canon recommends nothing over 6v but Fuji says 60v and others dont say anything. SLR's used a mechanical trigger, modern digi cams use an electronic trigger. Also Digcams use electronic metering for exposure so they dont take into consideration the addition of another flash unless they do a preflash, TTL metering and the flash unit is capable of recharging in about 1/10th second. YOu may have to do some post processing or set the camera on manual to adjust the exposure.

TV won't come on

If still under warranty or if you have no electronic repair experience you should take the set back to the shop or to a repair person. Some of the solutions described below can be dangerous, TV's are very hazardous to service. Even when plugged out, TV's can store very high voltages. This is probably a startup problem. It may be as simple as an open resistor that provides initial drive to the horizontal deflection. Check for power to the horizontal output transistor. If there is, check for drive. Could also be a bad flyback transformer. Another problem might be that the set is in high voltage shutdown, possibly due to a faulty voltage regulator. Check the regulated voltage going to the flyback primary (it should be marked on the circuit board what that voltage should be... 120V-140V in most TV's). If it is too low, the flyback transformer or one of its secondaries is probably loading down the primary input. If the voltage is too low, try disconnecting the secondaries. If the voltage remains too low, try disconnecting the primaries too. If the voltage is then normal, the flyback is bad. A REALLY bad flyback will also blow a fuse. don't leave the TV on too long with a shorted flyback, the h. output transistor can get too hot and probably fry, if it isn't fried already. If the primary voltage is too high, then the set is probably in high voltage shutdown, possibly caused by the voltage regulator. Good luck, and stay away from it if you haven't done this before. Take it to a lab if it's worth the repair.
