open Tray 1. Remove the paper feed roller. Remove the separation pad under the feed roller. You will see a small spring. Try to cut JUST ONE ring of this spring.
A) Loading Paper :
Follow this procedure:
1) Open the Paper Support, then pull out the Paper Support Extension.
2) Place a stack of paper (print side up) in the Auto Sheet Feeder, pinch the Paper Guide and adjust it to the left side of the stack.
* Set the Paper ThicknessLever to the correct position for the paper.
Note : Set the Lever to the left for most paper. When the Lever is set to the right, the confirmation message appears before the machine starts printing.
Important : Make sure the stack does not exceed the Load Limit Mark.
B) Loading Envelopes
Follow the following steps:
1) Open the Paper Support, then pull out the Paper Support Extension.
2) Prepare the envelopes for loading.
Important : * Press down firmly on the edges of the envelopes to make the folds crisp. Also, press firmly on the area that corresponds to the edges of the back flap.
* Remove any curling by holding the edges diagonally and bending them gently.
* If the edges of the envelopes are inflated or curled, place the envelope on a flat surface. With a pen, press down while moving it from the center toward the edges of the envelope.
* Ensure that no curl or puff exceeds 1/8 in. (3mm).
3) Place the stack of envelopes (print side up) in the Auto Sheet Feeder, pinch the Paper Guide and adjust it to the left side of the stack.
* Load the envelopes in the Auto Sheet Feeder with the short side down.
* Set the Paper Thickness Lever to the right.
Important : Make sure that the stack does not exceed the Load Limit Mark.

E3 error on the MP150 is a paper jam error. Make sure that there is nothing obstructing the paper going into the printer and that the feed mechanism doesn't have anyhting in it. Also run a roller cleaning from the printer software.
