The Port on the PS 3310 is called PictBridge. it is mostly used to connect Camera devices thru USB. It will not Read documents, you will have to try using an USB Adapter ( but not sure if that will work )
I dont think your printrt is made to read SD cards the only way it see the SD cards if they are in the camera and the camera lead into the USB inlet on the printer.

first check usb port is working or not in computer using any usb device ..... insert another usb device like pen drive and usb mouse ....if its detecting and working fine means no issue .... take a new printer cable and check its detecting or not if its not working its may be issue with the printer usb connector .....if your computer usb not working try fix it ...... if
the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do
both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer
to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
