Reset the tV to its factory settings. Refer its user manual for more details. Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and replug it after some time, say after 5 minutes or so.

Sounds like your tuner went out. If you are good at soldering replace your tuner. Other wise replace the main board.

Tries tv and those pay boxes unplug,replug it back like about an hour later.For the tv resetting itself back to factory setting and those pay boxes reboot and upgrading it software.The tv now should be working again.

The set is trying to auto program the available channels and it can't find any because since the change from analog to digital [FEB 2009] broadcasting requires a "converter box" to translate the digital signal back to analog. Check around and see if you can find a converter box. They were available for $20 with a coupon, maybe they still are. Try an electronics shop or dealer for that info.

The problem is a bad "Digital A" printed circuit board, located on the main printed circuit board.

i have the exact same problem. i used to be able to turn it on and off but that does not work any more. hope someone has an answer for this.

Unfortunately the digital board is usually the cause. Part Number 72783389. Vey expensive part!
