My password won't work

I tried my password and I know it is right and it doesn't let me log in.

Reset your password by clicking on forgot password option and give your info. you will recover your password successfully.

Why won't my oovoo log in :'(


Ensure that you have the correct user name and password. If you forget your username have oovoo send your the credentials using the "the forgot password". If that does not work not create a new account and just add your friends and family on the new account.

I have an old pc by brother gasme me from his work. It had a password on it, from the previous user, which i was using. I decided to try and just take this off. I removed the passwords from the use


First thing I'd try is to log on as the local administrator:
username: administrator
password: (empty)

If that doesn't work and you really can't log in AT ALL, you can reset the administrator password . Download Pete Nordahl's Boot-CD (here), burn it to a CD and boot your computer with the CD in the drive (Depending on the PC you might have to tap the F2 or F12 key when booting to get to the boot menu, where you can set it to boot from CD.)
On XP, do NOT change the administrator's password, just reset it (to empty)
Don't forget to "write to disk" at the end of the process.
Remove the CD when done, reboot and log in as "administrator".

As soon as i log on to my facebook account it shows error


What kind of error? Have you forgotten your password? If you are not sure whether you are typing the correct password, type it in Notepad and then copy/paste it in the password field. If that doesn't work, try logging in with a different browser (Opera, Firefox, Safari, Chrome..). If even that doesn't work, try logging from a different place, like a friend's computer. If you can't log in even that way, then you should try requesting a new password. Maybe that would sort out the issue.

I have a ZX4931-31e gateway all-in-one. i did a system restore back to factory settings. when it rebooted i was asked to log in and i don't know what the reset administrator password is? i tried...


Have you tried a blank password for the administrator. Just press enter when administrator pops up. If that does not work, try administrator. That should solve your problem.

If your Messenger is unable to connect to our Messenger servers, it will display a message that says it can't connect, or it will show a yellow light with "Connecting" for a long period, or the light at the bottom will just stay grey, and say "Not Connected". If any of these occurs, then you are having a connection problem, and not a problem with your Yahoo! ID or password. (Only if you see an Invalid Login error message are you having a problem with your ID or password.) If your Messenger is unable to connect, here's what to try first:

- Pull down the Messenger's "edit" menu
- Click on "preferences", then click on the "connection" tab
- Click on "no network detection" (so that there is a dot in the circle next to it), then hit the ok button at the bottom.
- The Messenger will ask you if you want to try to log on with your new proxy settings. Click on the "yes" button.
- This will bring up the screen where you enter your Yahoo! ID and password. If the ID and password are not there already, enter them, then hit the "login" button.

If this doesn't work, try this:
- Pull down the Messenger's "edit" menu
- Click on "preferences", then click on the "connection" tab
- Click on "Firewall with no proxies", then hit the ok button at the bottom.
- The Messenger will ask you if you want to try to log on with your new proxy settings. Click on the "yes" button.
- This will bring up the screen where you enter your Yahoo! ID and password. If the ID and password are not there already, enter them, then hit the "login" button.

This configuration will work in almost any situation, but the drawback is that if you connect in this way, you won't be able to use the voice chat feature.

If neither of the above options work, you're probably behind a firewall or proxy server that will require you to enter in it's address. From the connection tab, click on "Use proxies". Here you'll see where you can enter your firewall and/or proxy server's address and port number. Unfortunately, we don't have any way to determine this information. To find out the right address, you'll need to contact your network administrator (if you're at work), or your Internet Service Provider (if you're at home) to make sure that your firewall and proxy settings are correct.

We use eee pc by acer, set up the password for the first time. now when i type the correct password, it won't accept it. I downloaded a file called InfraRecorderPortable_0.52.paf.exe, put it in a USB...


Okay, first the password problem. Passwords are almost always case-sensitive now, so make sure that your caps lock is in the same state it was in when you first set the password. I have seen it happen that someone will set the password while their caps lock is on, then when they try to log in later with the caps lock off, they get a wrong password error. More often, though, is the opposite. You set the password with the caps lock off, and are trying to log in with it on.

The second problem is a little more complicated. First of all, the file InfraRecorderPortable_0.52.paf.exe is an installation file, which means it won't do the CD burning as it is. If you want to use the portable version of that software (for example, you have a friend that doesn't have that program on their computer, and they don't want it installed, but you still want to use it)you'll have to run the program and when it asks where you want to install it, select your USB stick. It should be able to run from there without any other supporting programs.
