the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Boilers do not filter air, as they heat with water.... Most boilers do not require home owner manitenance, unless your circulators need to be oiled

Finally found one for you John. Follow this link. It will get you a scanned copy that I checked, it seems OK.
Cut and paste the link into http:// box (is that the correct technicaL term, I think not!!).
You should see the manual listed on the page it takes you to, select it and download. It's a 5 Mb file and I have checked it for viruses etc. all seems ok.

SOURCE: my potterton stateman boiler wont spark and is on lock out

Lockout is gonna be a manual reset switch. Typically its in the burner section. Check controls that have wires going into them and a manual rereset button. Let me know which one is tripped.

There is a black reset button underneath the boiler, a safety over heat button, try resetting it if the pump has no flow restrictions, then most likely the over heat stat is failing.

Always try the simplest first. There is a small red temp. overload button, by the temp. setting thermostat. If i remember rightly, on the right side. It may need to be reset.

Repressurise Potterton Performa 24 boiler

hope this is helpful. On my potterton 24 combi boiler it is the valve that sits the lowest, with a slight indent in the black tap. if you turn this for a short period you will hear a hiss and the pressure will quickly build to the desired pressure, when you can them turn the tap back off.
