Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
Running Vista. Installed SW for webcam and all sound (internal/external speakers) no longer work. Certain chimes and noises will occur so the speakers are still working.
I checked the drivers and the sound section of Device Manager. My default device is actually showing the green EQ bar while iTunes is running in the background. It seems like the sound should be heard (almost like it is muted somewhere). I have checked everywhere I know to see if something is muted and it is not.
Go to Sound options in control panel. Change the volume and try choosing a different sound device.
