I ahve no drivers to install windows vista.

How do I go about getting a media disk that contains drivers for and acer laptop aspire 3680?or how do I down load into my desktop computer and put into a disk to run onto my laptop so that I can load windows vista.It tells me that there is a media failure and that there is no operating system

This happens to my acer a lot. your hard drive was most likely knocked from its position and you need to open up the back and put it back in. if that doesnt work then another component on it is broken and you will have to have a professional look at it

I need Acer 3680 vista software

Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure youselect the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers youthat require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on yourlaptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -

Connect to the internet after Vista clean reinstall

http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/

Put in Notebook-->aspire-->aspire 3680-->confirm

Do this on your desktop and download the networking adaptor to a flash drive and then put it on your vista notebook. Once that is installed then you install the rest from your network on the laptop.

Purchased restore disks for a Acer aspire 3680 and replaced hard drive. It loads ram disk and begins to restore then says please wait....... How many days should I wait??? Also tried to install Windows XP...

check boot order in bios set the cd rom in priority one!!
