Since this is a bi-amplified speaker suspect that the Woofer amp got fried, unless you check the speaker impedance and there's none, let me know if i can help more.

SOURCE: Any idea why my Mackie swa1501 bass bin has blown

does your swa1501 get hot just being switched on ?
sounds like your output transistors breaking down or your dc to dc rectifier is shorting this would dumping high voltage to the speaker. I guess your speaker coil is burnt . check Q4,Q5,Q7,Q12.Q14,Q15,Q17 and Q18 these are all mosfet transistors that commonly break down..

Hi my mackie thumps 100 watt aren't delivering a decent volume ,,I,m using mackie mixer please help

Is this a new problem? In other words, was it working correctly at some point?
You ned to isolate the problem. Plug a different source into the speakers and plug the mixer into a different amp/speaker. See which part isn't working correctly.. Either way, it's likely you need to take the part that's not working to the shop. You can contact Mackie to find the nearest service center. Service Locator Mackie

My Mackie Thump TH-15A will not produce any bass. I can get some sound but only from the top tweeter. Whats wrong and how can i fix this?

Could be the crossover has died or the main speaker winding has failed. Open her up and connect on side of the main speaker direct to a 9v battery and then wipe the other wire over the other terminal. If you get a crackling from the speaker then it's likely the crossover, if there is no response at all from the speaker then it is dead and possibly the crossover too.

The bass box

Hi Jamesroy,

Remove the Audio inputs from the bass box to see if the thump is coming from the Audio input. Of course do this with everything turned on. What we are trying to figure out is where the thump is originating from. If the bass box does not thump when the audio inputs are disconnected, the thump is coming from somehwere between the bass box and the circuits inside the head unit.
If you still have the thump after the Audio input wires are disconnected, then your bass box's amplifier has noise problem. You might try getting a noise filter from best buy to put on the power supply feeding the bass box.
