Question about ATI RADEON HD 4350, (512 MB) PCI Express Video Card

1 Answer

I use AMD Athlon x2 proccessor, Ati Radeon HD 4530 (512 MB) Graphic Card and a 2gb ddr3 RAM. My graphic card works fine in the beginning. But later, when i turn on my pc, the monitor remains black and no signal is detected. When i take off the graphic card, windows can load up without any problem.. But if i insert the graphic card and insert my monitor pin to the motherboard, i got the same problem, no loading, no signal is detected. What should i do? Please help me.. ASAP

Hello there!

I am very experienced with this problem, yet there is a simple solution.Basically, your pc is doing a great job,it is preventing your card from damaging.

Why does it turn off? Simply because your graphic card is over heating.Try to get some thermal paste(google) or some new fans.A water cooling system would help aswell.

Another solution:
It can be that you are not inserting your monitor's VGA cable in the graphic card's slot, thats the important part.

I hope this helps!

SOURCE: ati radeon 7000 graphic card driver not available

Any graphic card sold on the market comes with drivers otherwise the card would be useless. Did you check the website of ATI for drivers?

Here you can select your OS and select your card : http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

And in case you have XP PRO/Home here is the direct download link: http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/radeon-prer300-xp.html

Have you tried letting Windows do it for you? In the system option in the control panel, in the hardware tab, click device manager, then on display adapters right-click and select "Scan for hardware changes." Your card should certainly be recognized.
