Is the computer starting up ?

Computers allow us to connect with people from around the world, and successfully complete school and business work. Unfortunately, technical issues can arise after prolonged use of a computer or due to manufacturer issues. A computer fan that runs all the time can be from your personal habits when using your computer. Fortunately inexpensive steps can be taken to resolve the matter.

ventilation b> If you are using a laptop computer in your lap or on a cloth for an extended period of time, your computer may be overheating, causing the fan consistently run. Since the computer has little insulation between the surface and the motherboard, the fan stays on. Purchase a cooling pad for the laptop. It can be found at your local office supply store. If you don't want to buy a cooling pad, you can periodically lift your laptop up and sit it on a desk, countertop or another flat surface. If your desktop is overheating, it could be because it is in a small area with little ventilation. Ensure your desktop is in an area that allows air to circulate. I think your battery or your whole motherboard is fried. Does it make any noises? Do the fans start to run? Try unplugging your battery and only keeping your charger in.

can you check to see if the fan is moving, it can over heat and shuts down when the processor gets hot you would not feel it though case. also make sure the vents are clean as this is were the fan blows cooler air over to cool the processor-s down.

Acer aspire m3201 wont boot up

There are numerous issues that could cause this but if absolutely nothing happens, no lights, no fans, nothing then check the power supply. Use a simple voltage tester to see if you have any voltage on the connectors going to the hard drive and cd/dvd drives. If not this is a pretty easy and relatively inexpensive fix. Hi There , Remove the bottom cover of your notebook, You'll see in the corner there is a little fan,
1. Make sure that fan spins when you turn the notebook on.
2. Make sure that the airvents are clean, they might be blocked with dust.

That causes the Processor to get to hot, and then when it reaches a certain temp it shuts down, and you wont be able to turn it on until it cools down....Good luck, It's really easy to clean just blow it out, using a blower or some sort...
