The voltage for the charging is 12 volts dc the charger is a 110 volt dc 12 volt to the radio if you lost your charger you can get a aftermarket at any radio shack store just be sure you take the walkie with you when you go so they can match up the rdio plug end.

How do i charge my cobra hand held radio

According to Cobra's website, if you are charging the batteries (or battery pack) that came with the radio, charging should take about 15-hours.

If your model came with the desktop charging stand, they state that it is safe to leave them in the stand without fear of over-charging. If your model uses a power cord that you plug into the radio, then they state that you should not leave it connected to the charger for more than 24-hours.

If you follow the link below, it will take you to the Cobra website, where you should be able to download a copy of the manual for your radio. Find your model in the list, then select the "Details" button for that model. A new page will open then select the "Product Specifications" tab, and you will find a link to download the manual.

Cobra Two-Way Radio Page

Hope that helps you out.

hi most speakers of this kind are 8ohm or 4ohms you will not do any damage to it by connecting any cb radio or stereo so dont worry as long as you dont plug it into the main power source haha goodluck

I am look for a Antenna for a cobra model no is HH35

Any "Rubber ducky" antenna for a CB radio will work. It has to be one that is designed and tuned for the 27 mhz CB band.

Here is one.

You can also just google the phrase "cb bnc rubber ducky" and it will bring up lots of options.

Try this, plug it all up and turn it on, let it set over night, then try it, after a radio has been put away for a while, the capacitors lose charge...hope this was helpful....

Cobra HH 40 charger specs

I have a Cobra HH-40 CB radio and am charging it as I type. The included charger is rated at 16V DC, 100mA. The pattery pack charges 10 AA rechargable batteries (the manual specifies NiCd, but you can also safely use NiHM). The 12V DC car charger included cannot be used to charge the battery pack, but can power the radio.

The plug in for theese radio's are junk, I would look inside by the plug in on circut board probely needs resoldering and try to clean the plug in part with electrical cleaner and a very small screw driver to scrap the connections and take out the batteries first!!! also check your batteries make sure each one is good = 1.4 volts or more
