Question about Lexmark P4350 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I have installed new cartridges.but menu keeps saying install a color cartidge in right ...what is the problem

It insists there is a Cartridge problem on the Printer............ In this Case take out the Paper from the Paper Feed Tray........ Unplug the Power Supply from the Printer.......... Remove both the Cartridges from the Printer.......... Now take a size 10 Envelope fold it so that it should become like a thin long strip........ Now Insert that Envelope on the left side corner of the Printer and move it from right to left and left to right as fast as u can for about 10 times.......... Now Insert the Ordinary Papers onto the Printer and insert both the catridges and Turn on the Printer...... Blinking Stopped...........Issue Resolved....... Still Blinking: Remove both the Cartridges take a Paper Towel turn the catridges direction so that u can see a Copper plate with small boxes on it....... Just wipe it twice or thrice with the Paper Towel.......... Now insert it and Power on the Printer and see whether the Lights are still blinking if it is still blinking...... Get the Printer Replaced!!!!!

If the contacts are different, then you may have bought a damaged cartridge, or just simply the wrong cartridge and this would explain why your printer cannot recognise the cartridge. Make sure you bought the same number Lexmark cartridge as the old one. Return it to the store as a damaged cartridge if it is the exact same cartridge. Lexmark would not change the design of a working cartridge to exclude customers from using a printer.

If a black cartridge will not print, with no error messages, it is probably th printhead. Clean it with proper cleaning solution. Refilled ones if done yourself or by someone else, can also have air bubbles, Try blowing down refill hole with tissue under the cartridge to stop ink spills. Also, if you press a folder non scented wipe under the cartridge firmly, you should get a solid little black line or impression. This will tell you if the ink is getting down ok. Try reprinting.

A Right Cartridge Incorrect message generally indicates a communication error between the All-In-One and the cartridge. This can be caused by a faulty cartridge; however, it may be due to a simple interruption in the communication between the cartridge and the All-In-One.
The procedures below will help you to identify the cause of the error and resolve the issue.
Rebricking the All-In-One and Resetting the NVRAM
NOTE: The embedded links in the table lead to specific troubleshooting documents.

Step Action 1 Power off the All-In-One and remove the power brick from the back of the unit. Wait 20 seconds. Then reinsert the brick and power the unit back on.
Did the error message return?
Yes: Continue to step 2.
No: Print a test page. If the test page prints, the error is resolved.
2 Reset the NVRAM of the All-In-One
Did the error message return?
Yes: Continue to Checking the Cartridges.
No: Print a test page. If the test page prints, the error is resolved.


Checking the Cartridges
NOTE: The embedded links in the table lead to specific troubleshooting documents.

Step Action 1 Open the top cover of the All-In-One. Remove both cartridges. Close the top cover. 2 Power off the All-In-One and remove the power supply brick from the back of the unit. 3 Reinsert the power supply brick into the back of the All-In-One and power the unit back on.
Does the error message reappear?
Yes: Skip to Contacting Lexmark. There is a hardware issue with your printer and you need to contact our technical support center.
No: Continue to step 4.
4 Clean the cartridge contacts (click here for instructions) and the AIO carrier contacts (click here for instructions). Continue to step 5.
5 Power the AIO on, reinsert the black/photo cartridge, and close the top cover. Power the All-In-One off and then back on.
Does the error message reappear?
Yes: Power the unit off and try step 5 with another black/photo cartridge. If the error persists with the new cartridge, proceed to Contacting Lexmark.
No: Continue to step 6.
6 Power the AIO on, reinsert the color cartridge, and close the top cover. Power the All-In-One off and then back on.

Does the error message reappear?
Yes: Power the unit off and try step 6 with another color cartridge. If the error persists with the new cartridge, proceed to Contacting Lexmark.
No: Try printing a test page. If the test page prints, the error is resolved

Wont see new cartidges


hello,
Check whether you installed the cartridges correctly.
Turn off the printer and open the cartridge compartment.Make sure:-
  • The black cartridge goes to the left carrier.
  • The color cartridge goes to the the right carrier
  • The transparent paper at the bottom of the cartridges is removed before installing them.
  • The cartridges are securely fixed.
  • The scanner unit is closed after installing cartridges.

Cartridge Error message on our Lexmark X5150


The Lexmark machines are designed to kick out anything it suspects may be refilled. If your old cartridge has bad print nozzles this may be tripping the error. Printers are typically for sensitive with their color cartridges anyway because the manufacturers make more money on the color ones. You can try looking around the settings on the machine and in the printer preferences to see if you can tell it to ignore the ink levels and see if you can continue to print.

This problem may also be due to cartidge holder .
clean cartrideg holder with moist cotton with petrol or some other cleaning liquid as nail polish remover. clean properly the cartirdge socket and mainly the contact point of cartridge socket

I just bought new ink and my Dell 944 is still telling me I am out of ink and it a new cartridge. How do I tell the computer or printer that?

nope, there should be no tape on the cartridge. This is preventing the ink from coming out.

Installed new cartridges; keep getting error message


I'd say your using dodgy aftermarket or non HP cartridges, you could put your old ones in and see if message goes away, if having problem when using with Original HP cartridges post back and I'll did deeper for you.

I dont work for HP, I do know printers :-)

Printer won't process new catridges. These cartridges have been refilled.


Did you install the original cartridge? if you have the old empty cartridge, try to install it and check the error is empty cartridge..if so the problem is the newly installed cartridge. try to buy the new original one.
