Error Code 5110 on canon pixma iP6600D

Hey, I just got a iP6600D from a friend. Once I got it i printed a few pics to make sure the ink was still good and it was not broken. But, after i printed the 4th image i got a "Error Code 5110". I tried resetting the printer by removing the plug for about 10-15mins. Still exist. Can someone please help me solve this problem.

with the following parts that may be the causing the fault

Error message 6A00 on a Canon PIXMA IP6600D

Hi
Error 6A00
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Solution 2:
Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.

Solution 3:
Press the ink pads down in the purge unit.

Canon pexma ip6600d photo printer

my friend who is a computor t echnician came to see if he could fix it and he did. he had to go into my pixma ip6600d photo printer from the back of it and tilt it , he then discovered one of the inks were not fully in and thats why it wouldn,t move, he then pushed down on top of the 6inks with a pencil and the inks were all even and they started moving freely again. I hope this works for others as it is a great photo printer.

Error code 5100 on my Pixma iP6600D.

I had the exact problem described and it was the following:
one of the ink cartidges had popped out of place "inside" the printer housing on the right hand side, and was catching as the printer tried to start up.
By using a thin object such as a ruler, I could press the ink cartridge back into place to allow the ink cartidges to come out from the printer side area. Once out I properly reseated the ink and all seems fine.
