  8. Power-on the printer.
  9. During the printer firmware update, the liquid crystal display (LCD) on the printer control panel will display Printing Document and will change to Erasing . After a short while, the LCD display will change to Programming . After a short while, the LCD will display complete The Ready LED on the printer will start flashing. The printer will automatically power off and then back on to reboot, and will make noises similar to that of a power-on operation.

Will not draw the paper in from the top feed when trying to make a copy

Open the adf, clean the feed roller and separation pad with lintless cloth and warm water. You can buy a maintenance kit which replaces these two parts if this does not work. HPQ2429A

HP Color LaserJet CM2320nf MFP Envelope wrinkles

On alot of printers when you print envelopes theres a back door on the printer to prevent the curling or wrinkles. Just open the back door when doing envelopes.

Best of luck and have a happy and safe 4th of July weekend!

The printer is asking to load legal paper in Tray 1 but legal paper does not fit in Tray 1. How can I redirect it to mfp?

Paper up tp 14" long will fit in the paper tray.

Remove the paper tray fully from the printer.

You'll see a blue tab at the rear edge of the tray, this releases the adjustment of the length of the paper tray. Adjust to the size you need, and replace the paper tray.

NOTE when new (and in the box), the printer has tape on the paper cover (at the back of the printer), make sure this has been removed, as it will prevent the paper tray being pushed fully 'home' when adjusted to a large paper size.

If you print a lot on both A4 and Legal size, maybe it would be worth buying a second paper tray and leaving them set for the different sizes you use.
