Press the reset button on the back of the player. You will not lose the songes. This is a hard reset.
Once it is going - download the latest software updates.

Thanks for using FixYa!!

Have you tried resetting the Ipod. To do this you will have to sync the Ipod and then go to Itunes, then go to your Ipod settings(on the computer), then click on "restore" or "restore to factory settings"

I have a IPOD nano MC526LL that keeps playing the same song or podcast over and over. This is something new. can you help??

Sounds like you've accidentally touched the repeat button.

1. Play the song.

2. On the Now Playing screen, you will see play and volume controls (bottom of the screen).

Under the album title is a scrubbing bar that indicates the time remaining of the song.

3. A small icon that looks like two circular arrows is on the left side below the scrubbing bar.

Tap this icon once to repeat the album. The icon will turn blue when repeat is activated.

4. Tap the icon again to repeat the current track. The icon will change to show the number 1 inside a blue circle.

5. Tap the icon a third time to turn off repeat. The icon will turn white when it's deactivated.

On your Mac...

Click on the Apple icon at the top left of your screen.
Then select System Preferences.
Then select the DISPLAYS icon.

In the displays window, you will should see a Brightness slide bar. Make sure that slider bar is all the way to the right. The the slider bar is already to the right side, then it might be a hardware issue with your Mac. =(

5. Touch the icon a third time to cancel any repeat. The icon will turn white when it's deactivated.

Blue screen after logging into adminstrator but no desktop icons?

Start with OS X cd/dvd. put the cd in and restart, hold down C after you turn the laptop on. when the disk starts up, try to repair the hard drive (verify and repair permissions). I'd also try getting your hands on Disk Warrior, which can fix lots of hard drive problems. You might have to reinstall OS X though if it's bad. If you have to do this, you may want to upgrade the harddrive because that might be what caused the problem in the first place. If you go to repair permissions and it finds problems and repairs them. Try it again. If it finds problems the second time, you may have a bad hard drive. See how my answer is longer than your question. It really helps to provide details and specifics if you want a good answer. just keep that in mind if you reply. thanks. good luck.

Ipod Nano 8GB blank grey screen

I found this solution: Push the hold button on, then off. Then, press the Menu and Center button att he same time - hold for 6 to 8 seconds. The Apple icon should appear on your screen. You might have to repeat the steps. (I had to do it twice, but it worked.)
