Dont Laugh.. But Heres I I check'em: Open the radiator cap or coolant tank if radiator cap isnt applicable. Then sniff the coolant.. If It smell like gas vapors.. Then its Definitely a blown/cracked head or gasket..( usually a gasket ) They make test kits for that. But save ya money.. the nose is cheaper.. Thanx.. PS Make sure engine is cool when ya do this..

What happens wen u overheat toyota hilux 3l turbo deisel

Depends on how bad it was overheated and weather or not it was overheated because of low coolant level or air or coolant circulation Can be as bad as a cracked cylinder head or engine block, Seized and weakened cylinder rings causing low compression or oil burning, Can also cause scored pistons and liners, or even seize the engine right up so it no longer rotates

How much oil do i put in my 2005 toyota hilux 4x4 3l turbo diesel when i do my oil change??

As many as it takes to read full on the dipstick. The owners manual is also a good resource for fluid capacities. If you have 4-6 quarts on hand that should be enough to get you to the full mark after the oil change.

How much oil does my tacoma 3l turbo diesal take

the best type of oil for a diesel engine is mobil 1 , and it should be at least 10w40 if not 20w50, I'd call a dealer and ask about the weight. They can also tell you how much oil it will hold, or you can just add one quart at a time until you get it full on the dip stick, I'd say no more that 4-6 quarts total, but I do know that diesel's usually take alittle more that a standard gas engine.
