I have an Emerson MW8107WA and the turntable stopped moving/turning. It still heats fine but food cannot rotate. Is there any hope?

You probably have a defective turntable motor. They are fairly simple to replace and generally runs about $30-$35. You can access the motor by removing the bottom panel from the microwave. There are a couple of wire connectors and a few screws holding it in. You will, of course need to secure the main power and/or unplug the unit first. The spindle that the carousel and plate ride on, just pops off by lifting straight up from the inside of the oven cavity. Let me know if you need any further advice. I hope this helps you.
