Itunes will reconize my ipod but media player wont

Ipods are 1-way devices dontknow why,but you can go from computer -to-ipod but NOT ipod to computer,look all over the net,you'll see its just a flaw it has and for some reason apple wont let it,now their are programs you can download to your pc that will do it for you. Google--program to transfer music from ipod to computer

windows media will not reconize your itouch. only that recognizes is itunes

You might need a new USB cord. Try launching iTunes before connecting the iPod, and using a different USB port. If that doesn't work, try a different cord ( maybe borrow one )

the apple device service needs to be running to work with itunes...

are you and brother using the same windows account (when you turn on pc)? try separate windows account (you & brother)..now once again uninstall itunes and download it one more.time..on your account and place in share folder.........now both can use itunes plus have rock, pop,hip hop or whatever u like....

Is your ipod still under warranty?
If so make an appointment at your closest Apple Store and they will replace the iPod for you at no charge.
If it is out of warranty, you may need to replace the LCD.
If you have dropped the ipod the LCD could be damaged and not be cracked.
Try restoring it in Itunes and see if that helps.
If not Replace the LCD and you should be fine.

It is probably busted. If it's under warranty, call Apple to get it replaced.

Every Week, make sure the iTunes are updated to the LATEST version.

when u hook your ipod up to the computer and itunes comes up just drag the musi files itunes reconizes and drag them too youre music file on youre ipod hope it helps...
