Either the belts are worn making them too loose, or you may have a spindle issue there. Check the spindles to make sure they aren't seized. Also, check the blade center nuts to make sure they are tight. Good luck.

Just got one of these mowers myself - accidentally got a large stone caught in the blades which caused the same problem. It looked to me that there's a sensor on the flywheel that cuts the motor if the blades aren't rotating freely. You might find either that the sensor is broken (check it by pulling off the connectors and connecting them together) or that the blades aren't rotating for some reason.
