For some reason once the dishwasher gets down to 38-35 minutes on the counter it just keeps washing and doesnt count down any further...so it keeps running. I have to shut it off. From what I can tell water is hot and not running due to excessive bubbles.
Since water doesn't drain out,it could be a clog in the drain line. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. You should remove this line and clear it form any debris in the hose or the hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Good luck!

I have exact same problem with dishwasher getting stuck at the 38 minute point in the countdown. Drains fine if I use the Rinse/hold cycle or use the interrupt cycle buttons. Please post if you solved the problem.
does not wash with hot water and gets stuck on 18 minutes
