AC/Heat Fan runs continuously. AC and heat work fine but when I turn fan to off position the fan continuous to run. AC and heat turn off but fan blows. Also have a rear end roaring noise from passenger side rear. I had car alligned few times and still has same noise. Three sets of tires all different brands. Dealers answer is to rotate tires. Local mechanic suggested to rotate tires at every oil change but this still did not help. Noise starts almost immediately after putting new tires on. Bought new in 06 and car has been doing this every since.

Sonds like the fan to me. Yes, those are available separately. Water pump is internal inside of the timing cover and those are pretty bullet proof. Fan is most likely NG. Not that common. I have replaced only 1 in 12 years with Nissan.
SOURCE: my steering wheel shakes expecially when i go over 40 miles per h
hi there. does the steering wheel shake from the moment you start moving? or is it at certain speeds.
If it's from the moment you start moving you may have a seperated tire. If it's at certain speeds then you might want to try and get your tires balanced. Hope this helps you out
SOURCE: What is the proper sequence for rotating tires?
My understanding is that with radial tires that are in use today, you should rotate front to back on same side. Not side to side.
SOURCE: not-too-loud roar sounding
could be a wheel bearing. get the car up where you can spin the wheel, now grab the strut spring with your hand and spin the wheel. you will be able to feel "roughness" on the wheel that has a bad bearing.

I have the same a/c problem. Did you ever find a solution to it?
I'm not sure of the Nissan set up of the AC/heat, this fan on situation may be normal. My Ford truck has a system that continues to blow (low setting) after air/heat is off. To turn off the Ford, there is an off indicator to turn to, if u leave it on defrost, or any of the dash or floor vent settings, it fan will continue to blow at the low speed. You may have to switch to a different setting to stop it completely, check your owners manual for that info.
Your wheel noise is interesting (although u would probably say annoying!). Does the sound level increase w/ speed? U say it starts when u have new tires installed, does that mean it gradually 'goes away' as tires wear down? Does it make the same noise while driving in the rain? Have the rear brakes ever been changed? Have any of the mechanics that looked at it checked the wheel bearing on that wheel? Lots of questions, because it's difficult to diagnose w/out being there.
