The block is blue/grey at top with three sets of white numbers in upper left which keep changing. It reads Dell and underneath reads Self Test Feature Check, Just above that in reverse type, it read 2.Digital Input. Below the blue/gray are red, green and blue stripes. At the bottom, below the box it reads 'white TCO and Fail' the last in red. When this disappears from the screen, a reverse type black stripe floats around which reads '1.analog input'
Check that your monitor is connected properly and tightly to the computer. If it is, then the monitor may be bad. Borrow a friend's monitor and try to see if it works, if someone else's monitor works, then replace your monitor.
