Burner will not light:
Here is a couple things you can check:
1. Gas injector not insert in venturi tube.
2. Clogged gas injector
3. Obstruction in gas line.
4.Spider webs in venturi tubes.
5. Misalignment Of collector box and burner.
7.Check hose to make sure it is not kinked
8.Check Hose to make sure it wasn't chewed by squirrles
9. If it is LP gas, Could be out of gas.
Could be the way the grill was turned on and off, that also can be an issues. In your manual it will tell you how to do it proper, this could make it not light or have a low flame. If there is not hing in your manual, I will be happy to assist you.

Barbecue Repair Parts
Don't let spiders crawl into your venturis, yearly maintenance part are available.
If you notice that your Barbecue is getting hard to light or that the flame isn't as strong as it should be, take the time to check and clean the VENTURIS.
In some areas of the country, spiders or small
inserts have been known to create "flashback" problems. The spiders
spin webs, build nests, and lay eggs in the BARBECUE VENTURI TUBE (s)obstructing the flow of gas to the BURNER. The backed-up gas can ignite in the venturis behind the control panel. This is known as a flashback, and it can damage your Barbecue and even cause injury.
To prevent flashbacks and ensure good performance the BARBECUE BURNER and VENTURI
assembly should be removed from the grill and cleaned before use
whenever the BARBECUE has been idle for an extended period of time.
Also, when you lite the BBQ, make sure that you turn the gas on at the tank, wait a couple of minutes and then turn the knob on and light the burner. This is to make sure that the pressure is regulated and sufficient prior to lighting.
Hope this helps!

I had this problem with a brand new grill so it wasn't grease in the hose. Due to the new propane regulators you have to turn the propane tank on for at least a minute before turning the grill to light. Let the tank sit in the light position for five seconds and then you light the grill. This will keep air from getting into the intake hose and will keep your gas flame roaring high.
I was only able to get the grill up to 250 degrees before I found this fix posted on the Weber site. It is listed as the number one solution in the FAQ section.
