Mirro Pressure Canner M-0512-11 Owner manual

Howdy, Mirro is still rebuilding their website and don't have online manuals ready yet. For now, here is a brief FAQ section from their pages:
http://mirro.com/

There is also contact data so you can order a hard copy of the manual from them.

Coolant leaking by the firewall in the engin compartment

Check in the very back of the cylinder head's by the fire wall, there's a coolant pipe that run's from one head to the other, it's hard to get to but with a mirro you can check it.

I need an online user's manual for Mirro Pressure canner Model M-0526. I am not sure the unit I have has all the need ed parts. I do not see a safety pressure value - on the vent and the round thing tht...

You should never go above the 10 lbs pressure during canning. The manual recommends that you prepare the pressure cooker with 1 qt of water and 1 Tbsp of vinegar then set the unit to 5 lbs. Let the unit cool and then repeat at 10 lbs to learn how to maintain the pressure of the pressure cooker. See page 25 (page 24 of the PDF). I found the manual for the Mirro M-0526 here: https://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/pressurecookers/mirro/m-0526.html . The direct link to the manual is https://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/content/pdfs/136681-1.pdf . I also found some Mirro pressure cooker manuals here: http://www.pressurecooker-outlet.com/Pressure-Cooker-Canner-Manuals.htm .

I hope this helps.

I have a mirro matic pressure canner model 0406 with a jiggler pressure gauge. how do you know when pressure is reached and how to maintain that pressure for correct time?

I too have a Mirro 0406 that my mother gave me some 25 years ago. I LOVE it and use it every year! Fortunately, she gave me the manual along with the canner. It states"When correct pressure is reached, control will jiggle and sputter. To reach the first jiggle in a small cooker may take less than 5 min, or less than 10 min, when canning. Large canner may take 45 to 60 minutes for the first jiggle when canning a full load. Count time from first jiggle and reduce heat so control jiggle about 1 to 4 times a minute for cooking (about 4 jiggles per minute when canning). Constant jiggling causes excessive loss of moisture: the occasional jiggle and a hissing sound indicates pressure is being maintained. (I just canned 14 quarts of green beans with my Mirro today 7/26/09 :) Congradulations on your Mirro canner, I hope you have many years of success with it. Good Luck, and Happy Canning!

LCD 3/4 Blackout canon 300D

This is fairly common on the 300D - the submirror ( underneath the main mirro ) has a plastic pin that breaks - the camera has to be disassembled to replace. Expect to pay an independent repair shop about $105 or from Canon $180.
