Polaris 9300 Sport Robotic Pool Cleaner stops in water after running about 10 seconds.

Check your pool cleaners filter screen in the in-line filter system and make sure that it is clear of debris. Also check the skimmer, basket, pump basket, and pool filter to make sure that they don't have anything blocking suction. A loss of suction would definitely make the cleaner stop moving. Make sure that your hoses and connections do not have leaks that could be causing air to to escape.

Wont move in pool or very slow or stands on end

There are several things that could cause slow or non movement. I would first check your water pressure to be sure that it is correct. Make sure that your filter and any leaf or debris baskets are clear. If something is clogged, it will decrease your water flow and cause a lack of movement in the pool cleaner. Also, make sure there is not a blockage in the cleaner's throat. Finally, make sure that your cleaner's shoes and wings are not worn. If they are showing any signs of wear and tear, they are probably not allowing the cleaner to seal to the pool floor. Replace them and see if that corrects the problem.

How do I use pool pulse?

From the users manual for these pool cleaners:

The Pool Pulse is a flow meter that measures the volume of water flowing through your Zodiac cleaner. It must be used to properly set the flow and can be used as a diagnostic tool when the cleaner isn't running properly. For the following steps, using 2 people is recommended; one poolside and the other at the plumbing manifold. Vacuum and skimmer valves are located at your plumbing manifold.
• Remove the cleaner head.
• Attach the Pool Pulse® to the end of the hose and keep it under water as shown in Figure 1.
• Turn on the filtration system.
• For pools with one skimmer, flow is automatically regulated by the Flowkeeper Valve. Insure the blue indicator of the Pool
Pulse is in the ideal range (when viewed from the side).
• For pools with two or more skimmers, leave the selected skimmer open and slowly close the other skimmer(s) until the blue
indicator of the Pool Pulse moves into the ideal range (when viewed from the side).
• For pools with a wall vacuum fitting, leave the wall vacuum fitting fully open and slowly close the skimmer valve until the blue
indicator of the Pool Pulse moves into the ideal range (when viewed from the side).
• Keeping the hose under water, remove the Pool Pulse. Submerge the cleaner head, and when the bubbles stop coming from the
extension pipe, attach the hose end. Your installation is now complete.

You need to use the Pool Pulse feature to control the flow of water through the cleaner. Here is a brief overview, but if you need more details, consult page 6 of the users manual for this pool cleaner (below if you don't have it).
"Remove the cleaner head. Attach the Pool Pulse to the end of the hose and keep it under water. Turn on the filtration system.
• For pools with one skimmer, flow is automatically regulated by the Flowkeeper Valve. Insure the blue indicator of the Pool Pulse is in the ideal range (when viewed from the side).
• For pools with two or more skimmers, leave the selected skimmer open and slowly close the other skimmer(s) until the blue indicator of the Pool Pulse moves into the ideal range (when viewed from the side).
• For pools with a wall vacuum fitting, leave the wall vacuum fitting fully open and slowly close the skimmer valve until the blue indicator of the Pool Pulse moves into the ideal range (when viewed from the side).

Keeping the hose under water, remove the Pool Pulse. Submerge the cleaner head, and when the bubbles stop coming from the extension pipe, attach the hose end. Your installation is now complete."

Pool cleaner starts only when i allow it to **** some air then stops after a few minutes

If your pool cleaner is not working properly, there are several things that you will need to check. First, make sure that your filter and pump debris baskets are clear. Also, make sure that you do not have an obstruction in the throat of the cleaner or the hose. Make sure the diaphragm is not damaged or worn. You will also want to check your water flow. Use the Star Control that comes with your cleaner and try to get your water pressure into the yellow or orange zone.

I have had my Barracuda Pool Cleaner for about 5 years. Never had a problem. This year it seems to get"stuck" in corners and in uneven bottom areas. Couls the rubber inside be getting warn out???

Yes, it is possible. If that is the case, you will have to have it services by a Zodiac licensed repair person. There are a few things that you can try first, though. You might need to install a ladder guard. This is a common addition to these pool cleaners. If could also be an issue with your hose weights not being spaced correctly or your water pressure not being strong enough (use Star Control to check). If you can't fix it with one of these solutions, contact the technical service line at 1-888-786-7797.

Phantom does not want to run on bottom of pool

If your cleaner is running in top or automatic mode, try moving it to bottom. This is a common problem with these pool cleaners and owners often forget to adjust the dive setting. If the cleaner just isn't working at all, it could be low water pressure. Check your pump and filter for overfilling or debris, check all connections to make sure that they are secure, and check the flow coming from your in line to your pool cleaner.
