Check in the control panel. GE sometimes puts the spark module up in the control panel. I would look there first. Sometimes they put it in the side panel.

GE Gas Oven and broiler not working

No, there is a "hot-point" ignition for each but they are both controlled by the ignition module, easy fix, follow the wires (2) from the Broiler ignition point.... they will lead you to the module. More then likely it's wire connection came apart.....

The cheapest place if to find out from a repair store where you can source one from a scrapped unit. Also try to find out from the GE service dealer if there is any units which are to be scrapped and so the module can be salvaged.

F7 code keeps coming up on the digipad screen. timer goes on and off by itself. even when unplugged and then plugged back in, still happens.

The F7 code is due to a stuck button on the touch panel or a bad control module. You will need to unplug the range and remove the back panel. The first thing you will need to check is that the ribbon connector that goes from the touch panel to the control module is seated correctly. If it is found seated correctly then you will need to remove the ribbon connector and try cleaning the contacts with an eraser then re-install the connector and power the range back up. If the error code comes back then you will need to determine if the touch pad or control module is defective. You can do this by disconnecting the ribbon cable and power the range back on. Then wait 24 hours and see if the error comes back. If it does then it is the control module(ERC) and if it does not then the touchpad is the problem. Doing this work will require you to remove the back panel of the range. Make sure that you do not work on the range when it is plugged into the electrical outlet. You can be injured or worse if you attempt to make repairs on the range and you do not know what you are doing.

My GE XL44 Gas Range (Model JGBP34 GEP 1A) control

If you like the stove and it in good shape otherwise, have it fixed. The parts are still available. The stove in good used condition (without leak) is probably worth $75.00. May cost that much to repair it. Will cost approximately $450.00 to replace it with equal range. If it's a standing pilot model (no electricity needed) they are unavailable and your new range will require power to use the oven. Hope this helps.

GE model JKP13GOP2BG control panel faulty ( F1 code)

Often times when someone makes an attempt to "repair" a control, it does not hold up. Replace the entire control. Don't waste your time. You will also get a year warranty on a replacement control.
