When i try to install music from my pc to my k1 via mobile phone tools i get the message-- phone will not allow instalation--unsupported media type 0x4f. i did a full reset a while back now this, i had my own music in it before the reset whats wrong please. thanks, rick

You either have to use a different media type or download bitpim program from bitpim.org or download and use v-cast. Both are free. That is what I would try first. Lastly, I would try to update the phone's firmware.

ur fon to be recognized by ur pc is to install the software driver of ur fon..so that u can transfer files from ur pc to ur fon..maybe a found new hardware wizard will pop up bt still ur device will not function well coz ur pc doesnt recognize ur device,thats why u nid to install d driver..
you have to serach the net for the mobile phone tools software once you have that and install it on your pc then and only then can you load music and ringtones to your phone......or you can just buy a bluetooth adapter to your pc and that way you can also transfer music and ringtones to your phone.
ya i had the same problem. but one thing i did was start the music sync on the krzr BEFORE attaching it to the USB and for some reason then (and ever since) it will recognize my phone. but i can't get my pics or videos from my phone to my computer still!
My Krzr k1 does the same thing.. try having that person bluetooth you the messege when your with them.. if that works then you might wanna talk with your T-mobile rep. about how you can receive it via bluetooth but not by messeging .
