Question about Panasonic KV S2025C Path-Through Scanner
When scanning text documents, there are streaks on the final copy that we have scanned and saved in a pdf file. The streaks do not show in the same location when running duplex copies, however the streaks appear to remain consistantly in the same place as if a roller was bad or a glass was smudged. Cleaning rollers and areas the document feeds through does not help.
Any suggestions? Is this a maitenance or a service agenda?
Thanks, Steve at Banner Lending
Clean the glass thoroughly using Isopropyl alcohol. Dont use solvents. Check if there is any scratch on the glass. Repeated scanning with stapler pins can scratch the glass. If it is scratched, you may need to chage it.
