In the programming tool there is a place for ICD (incomming call distribution) need to make sure all phones are in you main ring group and set them all to immediate. If you do not have access to the programming tool it will be more complicated.

if you get a caller ID card installed on your system, the phone system will be able to correct it's time whenever you recieve a call... otherwise it should NOT be doing that

In a base TDA-50 there are 4 CO ports in the second 4-port row from the bottom or back of the cabinet. They count from left to right if you're looking at the system with the SD card on the right.

SOURCE: 1) The red alarm light
1> Don't worry about it. The alarm lights for synchronization errors, power outages, or any other missed items in the operation. You can clear it and it will light back up in 5 or 1400 minutes. It's just the way it is.
3. Try moving the phone directly to the cabinet or swapping phones. In a normal installation, the phones will count from bottom to top and left to right, bottom being as you look at the cabinet with the SD card reader on the right and the part toward the wall. They normally number 101-104 and then either 105-108 or 105-112 if the expansion is the 8-port card. It's more than likely it's in the wiring and not the phone, but you want to rule out a bad instrument or handset or cords.

SOURCE: All calls go straight to
The 50's red light can come on for any reason. Don't worry about that. Are your lines ringing at all or is your system in Night mode (press INFO)? Worst case, unplug the VM. What happens? The voice mail is usually programmed to answer after the local lines has rung in day mode. If this has changed, I'd look for a bad state, like night mode in day or some such error.
