My rca tv has unusable signal onit

Hi, Check the cable connections to and from the TV.
Change the channels to see if there are others that are out.
If you are not using any cable company then you will still need a set top box to unscramble the digital signal. Good luck.

I can not connect my rca dlp HDTV to my hp laptop. I tried using VGA wire, laptop is fine but TV is showing unuseable signal

A lot of TVs only accept limite PC resolutions. Try 1028x768 60hz this normally works.

The Error message doesn't mean the TV or PC is not working, only that the signal is not compatible. try all resolutions until something works.

A brand and model would be helpful. However if you have some knowledge on TV's you could try replacing the Jungle IC first. This usually controls the AV inputs on a standard CRT. Probable cause, Static on the Video line. Good Luck. Jus004
