Question about Panasonic Lands Phones

How do I enter 'one touch dialing' on a panasonic kx-t7636 / kx-tda100 system so when I hit the button it will automatically pick up an outside line and dial the number?

I'm hoping that I don't have to go "off hook" first. This becomes a two stage process. From the KX-TDA manual it says that "a line access was not stored" How do I make this part of the programming so that with the phone on hook I can "one touch" and have it call using the speaker phone?

Top of page 3 will tell you what you need to know.  Or you can hit program, hit (co), hit 2, then enter your outsideline and number you want to dial, hit auto dial store.  To use that number, pick up the phone and press the button you assigned to that number.

How do you set up voicemail on the Panasonic KX-T7636 system?

1. Raise the handset on any telephone in the Panasonic Telephone system.
2. Press the "INTERCOM" button and dial 165.
3. When answered by the Auto Attendant, dial # XXXXX * 9 9 8.
(Pound Six Star Nine Nine Eight)
4. Enter the Administrator Password. Followed by a #. (Pound) If required.
5. Dial 5 to "Modify Message"
6. Dial 1 to "To Change The Company Greeting"
7. Enter the Company Greeting Number from 1 to 32.

If you are not sure of which Company Greeting Number to change, then start with 1.
The Panasonic Voice Mail system will actually play the greeting to you.
Then you can determine if it is the correct one you want to change.
If it isn't, you can dial 2 and move on to next greeting and so on.

If you select a greeting number where there is no greeting recorded,
the Panasonic Voice Mail system will prompt you to record one at that time.
You may dial *1 (STAR ONE) to skip recording and return to Step 7.

8. When you have found the Company Greeting you want to re-record
follow the system prompts to record and save your new greeting.

Note:
You can change the Company Greetings remotely from anywhere.
1. Call the main number of your business.
2. When answered go to Step 3 and follow the same procedures.
3. When completed....Hang up....

How do I program a phone number to the one touch buttons on a Panasonic KX-T7730 phone?

It depends on what you get when you dial "9" on the intercom. If you get an outside line, then the 12 right side buttons on your phone can be programmed for one touch dialing like this:
On an idle phone, press PROGRAM a button and dial 9 plus the number and STORE. You can program more than one button by just pressing button numbers and STORE. Exit programming by picking up the handset and dropping it back down.

If you want a specific line, you may be able to dial the specific 8x code to access a line directly, or you can go into system programming and delete the open lines in program 400. Disabling would be the best, because if your 8x line is busy, you can't make the call with the auto dial button.

Programming one-touch dialing

I'll try my instructions and see if those are the ones you used.

Press Program 99 the button to program, dial 2+9 or whatever you use to get an outside line, and the number STORE.

Program exits programming.

Now, just press the button and it will automatically dial or you can pick up the handset and press the button.
