1 yr & 4 wks old, bottom 2/3 of screen fuzz of lines

Hi I can not even log on to my laptop as the bottom 2/3rds of the screen is so fuzzy line like, the mouse moves freely where the screen is clear and stops where it becomes fuzzy, tried all the usual battery stuff, any idea's? I saved for a long time to get this laptop and it is my life line as on home dialysis. I expected more than 1 yrs use from it,.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

A couple of things that you might try.

    1. Try changing the screen resolution - (control panel - display - settings)
    2. Re-install the video drivers - (download from mfg web site)

You won't be able to do either of these things because you can't log in. However you may be able to reload your computer using your original discs and drivers s

New 60ph6700 hd 3d tv /watchind hd sports fuzzy grass and background/once in awhile lines run through screen/its only two wks old??

Anything new has a chance of failure the first month or so from cold solder joints on circuit boards. If it passes the first month it may last 8 or 12 years. Send it back under warranty.

Started with one thin horizontal black line, then 3 shades over screen, now only static picture

Check and replace its back light CCFL lamps. If these are faulty, this kind of fault can occur. When replace it, replace all. None one or two. If you wish to get more details about the back light CCFL lamps and its working, check this link. Pull up older posts there.http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Thin vertical blue ink bleed line from bottom of Malaprop screen - Fades over time

Hello,

Yes, it's a screen problem. It could be a loose connection of the LCD and the motherboard or the lid lights gone bad. You can fix that by either resetting the connection of the screen and the motherboard or replacing the whole screen. You would need a technician to do that.

Laptop with Fuzzy Screen

It sounds like your video card is overheating.

Try getting one of the laptop coolers from bestbuy or other store. They separate the laptop from the table, allowing more air to flow and cool it. The good ones even have a fan to help it.

Good luck!

Vertical lines in my laptop screen

My understanding is that you have 2 laptops with the same problem, if that is the case, you need to replace the lcd. When you have lines on lcd's, that is a sign of a bad lcd.
