PDA clock and appointments change at sync by one hour
When my laptop and PDA sync, the clock on my PDA shifts back one hour. It also moves all of my appointments back one hour. I have tried rebooting the PDA, uninstalling and then reinstalling the Microsoft Activesync software, but the PDA still changes times when sync'd. I made sure both my PDA and PC were operating with the same time zone and date.
Re: PDA clock and appointments change at sync by one hour
I am running vista and havent had this problem, as a matter of fact if you have vista you no longer need activesync. Vista comes with a built in software application to sync you PDA, there si no logical solution i can think of that would cause this problem other than your computer may need to be updated, and also vista will update all the drivers for the dell x30 as well, just make sure it is able to do all updates, not just microsoft ones. hope this works for you!

If the file is moderately correct in your pda, dump your latop program. After reloading it, MAKE SURE it only scans from pda to pc so you don't lose anything else. Once this is done, change your settings back to what they were. If this is helpful, please post as such.
the ipaq automatically adjusts for daylight savings but the PC does not.
On your PC double click on clock, click on Time Zone tab and then on that screen you will see the box that needs to be checked.
also check that both PC and IPAQ are set to same time-zones.
The pc clock needs to be set to daylight savings time. To do this right click on the time on you pc go to the time/clock settings and then click on the time zone tab and below the clock is the box that says automatically adjust for daylight savings time make sure that is checked and then re-sync the iPAQ.
Try the following....
Open Active sync on your PC.
Double Click on Calendar.
Change the settings such that it syncs only 0 past and 0 future appointments.
SYNC (this will clear all calendar items on the IPAQ)
Now go back in to those Calendar settings, and set it back to the default which is 2 past weeks and All Future appointments.
SYNC (this will now reload all appointments into your Ipaq)
