Question about Computers & Internet
Here's everything I could see on the drive itself.
80Gb AT Maxtor D540X-$k
P/N: SG-012343-12547-24S-408G REV: A00
CT: 246B7C02QN8LU6 P/N: 237402-001
P/N: 11S06P5332ZJ1HNRG5G1WH FRU: 06P5237
LE08AT LE08Y4A1 REV 01-A A0815
In general, hard drives are guaranteed by the manufacturer for one year. 3 years on premium drives. I don't consider older Maxtor drives premium! (probably personal bias).
I would think any 80GB IDE drive would work

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
