Question about IBM ThinkCentre M52 8113 - P4 551 3.4 GHz (811342U) PC Desktop
I purchased an IBM Think Centre M52 P4 3ghz 512Mb PC from ebay recently (My first IBM computer). All was going well as I installed XP and a few other programs. I then opened the computer to add another stick of RAM. The stick I had didn't fit so I closed it. Now I can't seem to even get it powered on. Any chance I accidently disoldged a vital connection? Or is there some special trick to powering these computers on?
I have a thincentre M/C 8153.The problem with the system is that, green light of the system is not came up when power ON.but the cd drives is working at this condition. So System is not working.Kindly provide the valuable suggestions for the above issue..

Here is a checklist. Don't just visually inspect, take your hand and press them in.
Make sure that all power connections are seated.
Make sure that all cables are seated.
Make sure you didn't accidentally flip the switch on the back of the power supply. It happens sometimes, I have even done it myself. (not all power supplies have this switch).
If none of that helps. Post back exactly what it is doing.
Does it beep at all?
Do you get anything on the screen?
Can you hear the devices like CD-rom and hard drive spinning?
